As It noted, the hybrid console released Ultra Street Fighter II and Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Both projects were commercially successful. The producer also pointed out the popularity of other fighting games released on Switch.

"If there is another opportunity that makes sense for us, we will consider releasing the project on Switch. As for Street Fighter V, it is currently intended exclusively for PS4 and PC. But we see Switch as an important platform for all types of games," the developer said.

In the fall of 2019, Yoshinori Ono stated that for the release of new games from the Street Fighter series, gamers should ask Nintendo, not Capcom. Presumably, it was the platform holder who came out with business proposals to the development team in the previous two cases.

In addition, the port of Ultra Street Fighter IV on PS4 and Street Fighter V came out thanks to financial support from Sony.
