Because Wang Yan was not doing business, he ignored the political affairs, and the country that claimed to be the land of abundance, in the seven or eight years of his rule, "the trees were all dry, and the land was a thousand miles away." The people were not happy, and they were hungry. He heard that the people of Wang Yan under the rule of Wang Yan were scattered. In 925 AD, Tang Zhuangzong Li Cunzhen decided to reclaim the land, dispatched Wei Wang Li Jiyu, and the priestly secretary Guo Chongzhen led a soldier of 60,000 to crusade. Wang Yan decided to fight. It is said that when he left Chengdu, "the world is in ruins, the soldiers are not in the ranks, and there are a group of crows on the flagpoles, and they are very sad." But it didn't take long before I heard that my soldiers did not dare to fight Tang Jun, and he had to return to Chengdu. Seeing that the Tang army was not far away, Wang Yan had to declare his surrender, and was replaced by Tang Zhuangzong as An Legong, and ordered him to move into Luoyang. Wang Yanyu took his thousands of family members to Luoyang. Only after walking to Xi'an, Wang Yan, who was only 28 years old, was killed at the station.
