For iBreaks 81 were welcoming back Anglo-Russian production duo Baseface with some peak time rave breaks!
The Prodigys influence is all over the lead track Something Human with some serious growl, rave stabs, and Yolas powerhouse vocal over classic breaks with some added kick and punch. Theres no denying that this deserves to be heard on a big system, festival style, and has that sweet mix of hands in the air moments with hardcore attitude.
On remix duties - step up Colombo! As a contrast to the massive sound of the original, Colombo strips everything back to old school electro beats and nu-skool warped bass swells, whilst keeping echoes of the vocal and adding some lovely ear candy sound design. One to work well early doors, or heads down for the 4AM stamina crew!
